Day 4: Rudesheim, Deutsches Eck and Aqualand

aqualand-1

Today we had a really early start! First thing this morning we went to Rudesheim where we went on a cable car ride looking out over the vineyards and the Rhine Valley. The views were amazing!

We then had some free time to look around the town and we sang happy birthday to today’s birthday girl Niamh!

We then saw the Germania statue and had some photos taken on the band stand.

We then stopped off for a short visit to Deutsches Eck where we went for a walk along the river and stopped in the square where there is a statue of William I and we admired the view.

This afternoon we went to Aqualand to cool off after a scorching hot day, and finished off with a quiz this evening. The winners were the Philistines- Natasha, Leah and Amy.
